i thought of you today
it was just a glimpse
where i saw a face,
slightly downcast,
teeth breaking through a smile
i mimicked the look,
placing my hand in yours
as i blindly moved my face in
like teenagers we neared,
mouths slightly opening,
but not touching
a hand on my face,
a connection,
an embrace
